1. Be flexible Compare different days, departures and airlines and don't forget to check for last-minute trips too. 2. Check alternative destinations If you for example feel like the North of Croatia, have a look at airports in Italy too. Some airports have got more low fare airlines, than others. 3. Travel late – or early You might not want to travel in the middle of the night or arrive very late, but the truth is that you can save lots of money on uncomfortable departures. 4.Search and compare hotels Check the alternatives from home or go price hunting on arrival. Hostels and private rooms are often cheaper, but don't forget about the big hotel chains. Sometimes they have really good deals too! 5. Wait... Go when no one else can. Have a vacation later in the season if possible. The prices are lower and there will be more peace and quiet.
