MACBA - Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona A really cool modern museum of arts on Plaça dels Angels in the city centre. It's new thinking and has got many different exhibitions. Later on this year there will be a new exhibition of the work of the American composer and sound artist John Cage. 2. Parc de la Ciutadella A nice park, excellent for a picnic and located in the central part of the city. The feeling is bohemian when jugglers are practicing and hanging out with their friends there. 3. Parc Güell This is a must for all first-time visitors, even if touristy. Have a closer look at Gaudi's well-known creations and see Barcelona from above. The view is perfect and well-worth the walk to get there! Green food on the go: The green fast food chain Maoz is situated on several locations in Barcelona and are serving tasty falafel and other delicious things in pita. My best tip! Try the smaller streets and alleys to find the really good restaurants and shops. It's easy to find a really price-worthy three-course dinner. Take the opportunity to treat yourself!
